Maximizing Profitability

The North American division of a multinational food service company needed to improve profitability. Using advanced predictive modeling methods and space optimization heuristics, we are helping them develop specific item-location assortment plans to increase location profitability. We are also enhancing their ability to manage their inventories and customer service levels.

Leveraging ERP and EDW Investments

The business analytics team of a large multinational consumer products company wanted to better leverage the company’s massive investment in ERP and Enterprise Data Warehouse technology. After assessing the analytic capabilities of each major business function, we developed a roadmap that identified business areas to target, plus the tools and skillsets they needed to gain competitive advantages. We are currently providing them with a “virtual advanced analytics team” to exploit targeted opportunities.

Increasing Sales

A mid-sized software firm was not achieving desired sales results. By analyzing their inside sales transactions, we identified patterns of missed opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling and provided a plan for improvement. The plan included specific items to suggest to the customer in each situation.

Optimizing Prices

A regional three-channel retailer (brick and mortar, web, catalog) had purchased advanced price optimization software and needed help to be sure that it would achieve the desired results. We worked closely with the company and their provider to ensure that the software was properly applied to meet practical business needs.
